About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga
The Logistics Coordinator will support large-scale educational studies by providing logistic and admin support to the project teams. They will liaise with schools, suppliers, plan and operate the testing schedule, ship devices and hard packs to schools, track expenses and raise payments.
The Logistics Coordinator is highly organised and a good written and verbal communicator.
- Bring your organisation and planning skills to take care of the logistics of running large-scale education projects being delivered in New Zealand.
- Work together in a supportive fast-paced team.
- Bring your customer focus and problem solving skills to give schools a great experience in the research.
Salary range: $65,801 - $79,195 per annum plus KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About you | Mōhou ake
You will have experience supporting the planning and delivery of large-scale projects. You are a list-maker, are well-organised and efficient at getting things done and to a high standard. Your excellent people skills and written and verbal communication allow you to quickly build rapport with co-workers and customers. Your curiosity to learn and operate as a proactive, self-starter will be valued.
You will also offer:
- Experience learning and mastering new software and processes.
- A track record of delivering on your commitments on time and within budget.
- Experience working on large-scale education studies such as PISA, PIRLS, TIMSS and TALIS is an advantage.
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
About our group and team | Mātau rōpū ake
The Educational Measurement and Assessment team sits with the Ministry’s Data and Insights group. The group manages all aspects of information management, from data collection and stewardship to analysis, modelling and dissemination. This group support the education ministry and sector by providing evidence and reporting to support policy and practice
