About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga

We’re looking for a skilled Buyers Desk Advisor to join our established Procure-to-Pay team in one of four permanent Advisor roles. This position plays a key part in delivering our specialist P2P services, while supporting the growth and capability of both the team and our customers.

As a member of the team, you will:

 

  • Contribute to an effective team with a positive approach to the work environment that encourages and supports high performance, collaboration and problem solving. Mentor and coach colleagues to build knowledge and confidence
  • Partner regularly with corporate service teams to ensure smooth, efficient transactional operations across the Ministry
  • Lead the resolution of issues, identifying risks and solutions to protect and enhance the integrity and reputation of the Ministry
  • Contribute to both day‑to‑day operational delivery and tactical service development

 

Based in Wellington and supporting customers nationwide, this role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to make a real impact every day. Salary range is $74,815 to $90,347 per annum plus KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

To thrive in this role, you’ll work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders across Corporate Integrated Services and the business groups we support. You’ll be part of a service focused team that delivers a wide range of offerings, from self-service guidance to fully supported services, across multiple systems. This includes developing resources and building knowledge for both our team and our customers.
