About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga

 

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the projects, programmes, and initiatives delivered by Te Pou Rangatopu | Corporate. You’ll bring strong analytical capability and a strategic lens to help us solve complex problems, shape future services, and enable lasting change.

 

This role will suit a senior business analyst with experience leading the business analysis function across complex and varied programmes and projects. Someone who builds strong relationships and brings people with them on the journey and a professional who can work at pace and bring structure to ambiguity.

 

The role will offer the opportunity to:

Salary range: $118,371 - $141,856 per annum + 3% kiwi saver.  The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About our group and team | Mātau rōpū ake

 

Te Pou Rangatōpū | Corporate supports the Ministry by delivering essential organisation-wide functions and services. Our group provides governance, organisational strategy, communications, legal, finance, procurement, people capability, facilities, ministerial reporting, and integration services — all critical to the Ministry’s daily operations and long-term effectiveness.

 

The Integration Services division brings it all together, it is responsible for the Ministry’s corporate service operations, service management, business continuity, corporate applications, portfolio delivery and Māori Crown Relations functions that enable our business groups to run effectively. 

 

The Portfolio Delivery team is responsible for leading and managing Te Pou Rangatōpū programmes and projects that are delivered to enhance services and improve customer experience. The team drives strategic priorities, provides and delivers project management expertise, advises on prioritisation and ensures effective change management across all Te Pou Rangatōpū-led initiatives.
