As the Senior Analyst, Corporate, you will:
- Lead pieces of work that maximise the application of corporate data in day-to-day business decisions.
- Respond to data requests with insights that are clear, concise, and well-presented.
- Actively engage with customers so that their expectations and requirements align.
- Dig into complex data challenges and find smart, tech-savvy solutions.
- Be an active contributor to a strong culture of precision and peer review.

About you | Mōhou ake
We are looking for someone who’s curious, collaborative, and confident working with data. You’ll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities in a high-paced work environment, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and translating complex data into information that is relevant and consumable.
Experience with corporate data systems and their reporting tools, and PowerBI is essential
You will also offer:
- Experience in a complex organisation
- Experience in building relationships and partnerships to achieve shared outcomes.
- Experience in leading data collection, data quality and data reporting projects.
- Experience prioritising work and managing ongoing expectations within agreed time-frames
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
About our group and team | Mātau rōpū ake
The People Analytics and Insights team maximises uptake and application of corporate data, and fulfils the Ministry’s statutory Human Resource reporting obligations. We are a small team that works collaboratively to get things done.
