We are looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Business Performance team within the Office of the Hautū, Te Pae Aronui.  You will work as part of a small, agile and responsive team that leads our contribution to business planning, budgeting, accountability reporting and who supports our leadership team to drive operational improvements though quality advice and guidance.

 

You will need have the interpersonal skills to relate well with all kinds of people, enjoy working at pace and managing a variety of tasks and projects.

 

Salary range: $99,496 - $120,690 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

As a Senior Advisor you will bring your knowledge, skills and experience to contribute to improving the business performance of Te Pae Aronui.

 

You will also bring with you:

 

  • Your ability to build strong, sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure relevant stakeholders are kept informed on progress in responding to relevant issues, seeking their contributions and validation of information as appropriate.
  • Proven organisation and time management skills and an ability to manage a range of tasks and projects.
  • Ability to use a broad range of data and information to support collaborative decision making. To guide and influence others in a supportive manner to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to work under pressure in an environment of competing demands to obtain relevant information from stakeholders and provide information and assistance for the Hautū as required.
  • The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

Te Mahau | Te Pae Aronui | Operations & Integration - Te Pae Aronui connects people, knowledge, services, and regulatory processes to help shape an inclusive education system. Te Pae Aronui was established within Te Mahau to help drive a focus on equity throughout Te Tāhuhu by connecting across the Ministry and providing expert support and services into the regions. Our group provides nationally consistent service design, practice guidance and systems to support the integrated teams led by Directors of Education providing flexible and responsive services. We deliver national resourcing functions, including inclusive learning support.
