About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga
The Senior Advisor Contracts is responsible managing, administering, and evaluating a portfolio of contracts intended to support and develop the education workforce. This role contributes to supplier relationship management and performance and compliance monitoring of contracts using best practice. Focussed on detail to shape advice, this role works across multidisciplinary teams providing advice, input and oversight of all things contracts, making sure milestones are met and programmes continue to be relevant and effective.
Salary range: $84,425 - $102,271.00 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About you | Mōhou ake
We are looking for someone with relationship savvy who is strong on systems and processes. You’ll need to be able to build and access any and all information about our suppliers and contracts at any time. You will be the ‘go-to’ for our teams and will gain a deep knowledge of contract constraint and opportunities and bring this voice to all the initiatives you work on.
You will have responsibility for a diverse portfolio of critical contracts that support workforce development initaitves.
You will also offer:
- Experience in a complex organisation.
- Experience in building relationships and partnerships to achieve shared outcomes.
- Knowledge of the education sector.
- Understanding of Government Procurement Rules, best practice procurement and contract management and administration.
- Excellent analytical skills including ability to lead and support the development and delivery of complex analysis, business cases and advice.
- Ability to convey abstract and/or complex ideas in clear, practical, and concrete terms, tailored for the audience.
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
