About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga

 

  • 6 months Secondment

 

This role focuses on analysing data related to capital investments for the Property Delivery team. Responsibilities include managing capitalisation transactions, performing data entry, handling write-offs, and generating regular reports.

 

As a Project Analyst you will provide general support to the Capital Investments team, interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

 

Salary range : $74,015 - $ 89,547 per annum + 3 % Kiwisaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About you | Mōhou ake

 

You will have a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar business discipline and experience in an asset/capital intensive organisation, ideally in the construction industry.

 

You will also offer:

 

  • Effective communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience in a high volume data entry environment
  • Experience of working with multiple data sources and systems to compile and generate regular reports
  • The ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles / can get messages across with the desired effect.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in systems management.
  • Knowledge of project, assets and capital expenditure accounting
  • Proven public sector or a large corporate accounting experience
  • Experience with managing accounting processes related to fixed assets and capital expenditure
  • The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

The Capital Investments Team is part of Finance in Te Pou Rangatōpū|Corporate. We are responsible for partnering with the Property Delivery team to provide sound financial advise to enable them to operate effectively and fulfil the financial, statutory and reporting obligations of Te Tāhuhu.
