About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga

 

We’re looking for a Procurement Adviser to join our team on a fixed-term basis to support the Literacy and Numeracy Homework and Tutorial initiative, Pacific Budget 25.  You’ll work closely with regional and national teams to design and maintain an end-to-end procurement system that aligns with government procurement rules and supports successful project delivery. You will work with Providers and Schools to ensure procurement requirements are met and work closely with a team to ensure the entirety of the initiative is implemented and reported within deadlines and due process.

 

This is a mostly internal-facing role, with some engagement with Pacific providers and sector stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to the success of Pacific education initiatives by ensuring robust procurement and financial systems are in place.

About you | Mōhou ake

 

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, systems-savvy, and passionate about making a difference for Pacific communities.

 

You will have:

 

  • Experience in procurement and contract management, ideally in a government setting
  • A systems thinker to build streamlined processes to support an end-to-end procurement process and contract management
  • Experience working with Pacific providers and communities, with strong cultural competence
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work across teams to deliver shared outcomes
  • The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

 

You’ll be joining a supportive and purpose-driven team with a strong focus on Pacific education success.
